Art For All: SFMOMA x Creative Growth

SFMOMA and Creative Growth Art Center honor the emergence of the art and disability movement in the Bay Area through an unprecedented partnership.

Commemorating Creative Growth’s fiftieth anniversary, this partnership includes the acquisition of 100+ works into SFMOMA’s permanent collection, two exhibitions, and a three-year series of events. Highlights include the fifth annual Creating Community symposium on Thursday, May 23, 2024, and the 50th Anniversary Gala and Beyond Trend Fashion Show in September 2024, featuring original designs by Creative Growth artists.

Creative Growth x Arts in Embassies

As the United States nears its 250th anniversary and Creative Growth marks 50 years, the State Department's Art in Embassies (AIE) program collaborates with cultural institutions, artists, families, and galleries to foster U.S. diplomacy through art. Introducing the Creative Growth Collection: AIE unveils a collection of 89 artworks from Creative Growth Art Center artists. This partnership showcases our artists' talents worldwide, inspiring global audiences with their unique creativity and perspectives. It's a celebration of inclusion, cultural diversity, and the connective power of art.
