We were grateful to have a recent visit from New York based disability rights activist, public speaker, and protest artist Oaklee Thiele. Thiele Zoomed with Creative Growth artists from her installation at DisArt in Michigan and gave us a tour of her exhibition of the My Dearest Friends Project, an international art collaboration co-founded by Thiele that archives and amplifies the stories of disabled individuals.
